Arey Obituary - Rockingham Co., VA Mrs. S. L. Arey, 40, Dies at Hospital Funeral Saturday at Clover Hill -- Burial In Woodbine Cemetery Here Clover Hill, Feb. 20. -- Mrs. S. L. Arey, of Wheeling, W. Va., died today at 12:45 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital where she was taken for treatment about three months ago after being ill for 18 months with complications. She was 40 years of age. Before her marriage; she was Miss Laura Croushorn, the daughter of George L. and Lizzie Hummel Croushorn, of Clover Hill. Since September she had been living at the home of her mother. She is survived by her husband and one son, John, of Wheeling, W. Va.; her mother, Mrs. Croushorn, of Clover Hill; and four Brothers -- C. C. and E. D. Croushorn, of Clover Hill; S. E. Croushorn, of Lima, Ohio; and W. K. Croushorn, of Hinton. Friends of the family will meet at the home at one p. m. Saturday, and at 1:30 funeral services will be held at the Clover Hill Methodist church, the Rev. J. W. Hess, Harrisonburg, officiating, assisted by Rev. E. A. Wilcher, pastor of the Bridgewater Methodist church.
