Huffman Elkton--Oney C. Huffman, 91, of the Rocky Bar area at Rt. 4, Elkton died Friday morning at his home. Mr. Huffman was born April 4, 1892, at Pleasant Valley and was a son of the late Andrew B. and Mattie Gangwer Huffman. He was a retired welder for Norfolk & Western Railway and a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church at Rocky Bar. On Oct 6, 1915, he married the former Ethel May Royer, who died April 27, 1971. Surviving are a son, Ralph A. Huffman of Elkton; two daughters, Madeline H. Hilbert of Bridgewater and Violet H. Thompson of Waynesboro; a abrother, Ward L. Huffman of Keezletown; a sister, Edith H. Taylor of Keezletown; 10 grandhildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. A graveside service will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Keezletown Cemetery by the Rev. Louis C. Breitenbach The body is at the Kyger-Pence Funeral Home. Friends may call at the homes of Mr. Huffman's children. The casket will be closed. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Elkton Rescue Squad.
