Halterman died at 6 pm Saturday at her home in Bridgewater two hours after suffering a stroke of paralysis. She had been in failing helath for a number of years. Mrs. Halterman was born at North River on April 12, 1884, a daughter of the late Luther and Sallie McGlaughlin Gangwer. She had lived in Bridgewater for 13 years where she was a member of the Brethren Church. Surviving are two children, Miss Margaret Halterman, of Laurel, MD., and Miss Lucille Halterman, a student at Bridgewater High School, and a brother and sister John C. Gangwer of Linville, and Mrs. W. L. Fultz, of Franklin, W. Va. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 this afternoon from the Bridgewater Brethren church, with the Rev. C. G. Hesse officiating, assisted by the Rev. Minor C. Miller. Interment will be in the Brethren cemetery at Bridgewater. The body will remain at the Rosenberger Funeral Home in Bridgewater until the hour of the funeral.
