D. M. Lilly, Aged 85, To Be Buried Today Services for Aged West Rockingham Farmer at Bank Church at Two O'Clock Funeral services for D. M. Lilly, well-known farmer, who died Saturday afternoon following a lone illness at his home in West Rockingham will be held this afternoon at two o'clock from the Bank Mennonite church. Services will be conducted by Rev. C. E. Long and Rev. A. S. Thomas. Music will be furnished by the Bridgewater College male quartette. Pallbearers will be his nephews; Goldie Lilly, Jack Lilly, Berry Lilly, Letcher, John and Albert Robinson. Honorary -- Charles Stover, Charles Shifflet, Ward Myers, Kirt Phares, Jasper Swecker and Fred Miller. Flower girls will be -- Flossie Bowman, Selma Heatwole, Neta Bell Heatwole and Virginia Roberson. Although Mr. Lilly had been in ill health for the past four years and an invalid for the past year it was not until a week ago that pneumonia developed and his condition became serious. Born in 1850 on the farm which he died he was a son of the late Jackson and Harriet Earman Lilly. He was twice married, his second wife, who survives him being Mrs. Sallie Moubray. A successful farmer and a devout Christian he was held in the highest esteem by all who knew him. He was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren and one of its most active workers until his health failed him. Besides his wife he is survived by two brothers -- S. V.
