P. Rosenberger. Follows Stroke of Paralysis Sustained Two Years Ago. Leaves Widow, Four Children, and Large Relationship in Northern Section of County. ARTICLE: David Peter Rosenberger, a well known resident of the northeastern portion of the county, died at his home near Athone at half-past 9 o’clock Thursday night. His death was due to paralysis, with which he was first stricken two years ago. His condition had been precarious for the last twelve months. He was about 59 years old. Mr. Rosenberger is survived by his wife, three sons—Herbert P. Rosenberger, of Newport News, and H. G. and Walter S. Rosenberger, who are in the West; and one daughter—Mrs. Bertie Phillips, of Athlone. He also leaves four sisters—Mrs. D. J. Driver, Mrs. John W. Harrison, and Miss Fanny Rosenberger, all of this county; and Mrs. John C. Grove, of near Luray; and two brothers—Jackson and Wilbert Rosenberger, of Athlone, as well as his aged mother, whose home is also at Athlone. The funeral will be held from Union Chapel at 11 o’clock tomorrow morning. The services will be conducted by Rev. H. C. Moore, of the Christian church, of which Mr. Rosenberger was a communicant. Interment will be made in the family burying ground on the farm.
