I Mychel Earman Senior of the County of Rockingham and State of Virginia being weake in body but of perfect sound mind and memory and calling to mind the Mortality of my body and knowing well that it is apointed for all men once to die therefore I do hereby make ordain constitute and apoint this my last will and testament in manner and form following first and principly I humbly recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth from whence it came and to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors of this my Last will and testament and calling to mind the worldly estate that it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life. I devise and dispose of the same in form following to wit. I direct my executors as soon convenient after my death to make saile and sell to the highest bidder all my reale and personal estate for the best price that can be got and to pay up all my just debts together with funeral charges and the balance of the Money arising out of my reale and personal estate after paying my just and Lawful debts and my executors to make all deeds and conveyance and then to be an equal division among all my Seven Children Sheare and Sheare alike namely Eave Wheelberger, Elizabeth Keller, John Earman, Polly Boon, Sally Wheelberger, Joseph Earman, Catharine Boon, Sally Wheelberger is only to have Thirty Dollars anualy every year untill her equal Share is paid up doeth (?) without interest. All this I expect will be lawfully done and performed by my two living Sons John Earman and Joseph Eaman to whome I do apoint my hole and sole executors of this my last will and testament ratifying this to be my Last will and testament and no other and I do hereby revoke all former wills made by me and Seal this 30th day of August 1817. The last will and testament of Michael Earman Deceased was presented in court and proved by the oaths of Henry Sipe and Peter Oyler and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of John & Joseph Earman the executors named in said will who entered into bond with security in the penalty of $6,000 and made oath thereto as the law directs a certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate in due form.
