She was born in Russell County, Va., daughter of the late George C. and Della Counts Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Helbert, seven sisters, Fannie Kite, Laurie Jacobs, Estelle Ervin, Evelyn Perry, Mae Collins, Sarah Hall and Willie Hall, and five brothers, Bascom Hall, Junior Hall, Randolph Hall, Charlie Hall and Billy Hall. Mrs. Helbert was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Tom (Della) Mullins of Castlewood, Mrs. Jack (Judy) Kelly of Atkins, Va., and Mrs. Dorothy Bradley Phillips of Castlewood; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Rev. Arville Dingus and Rev. Howard Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ernest Henry and the staff of Grace Health Care in Abingdon. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood.
