Jones ROSEDALE, Va. -- Stella H. Jones, 89, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, in Avente of Harrisonburg, in Harrisonburg, Va. Born Aug. 28, 1913, in Russell County, a daughter of the late Earl Honaker and Loura Hess Honaker, she was the widow of Sam Jones. She was a member of the Elk Garden United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Dabbs; a sister, Mary Ellen Soles; and three brothers, Jake Honaker, Charlie Honaker and Claude Honaker. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Buddy H. Chapman, Harrisonburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Sammy and Linda Jones, Rosedale; grandchildren, Eddie Eudy, Ricky Chapman, Randy Chapman, Tim Chapman, Bobby Dabbs, Tammy Dabbs, Jason Jones and Samantha Jones; also several great- grandchildren; two sisters, Flossie Monk, Fredricktown, Ohio, and Maggie Hamilton, Mt. Vernon, Ohio; three brothers, John Honaker, James Honaker and George Ben Honaker, all of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, in Russell Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Darrell Fletcher officiating. Those attending are requested to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. to go to the cemetery in procession. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Ricky Chapman, Randy Chapman, Tim Chapman, Eddy Eudy, Jason Jones, William Hughes and Cecil Hughes. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at the funeral home. Combs Funeral Service in Lebanon is serving the Jones family.
