Gent Stoots Jr.

    LEBANON -- The funeral service for Gent (Buddy) Stoots Jr. will be 
conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, in the Combs Funeral Service 
Chapel with the Revs. Carlyle Carter, Danny Rhea, Buster Clark and Donnie 
Musick officiating. Burial with military rites conducted by the Lebanon 
V.F.W. Post 9864 will follow in Russell Memorial Cemetery. Nephews and 
church friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be 
special friends, Trigg Fields, Randy Williams, Phillip Puckett, Mike Bush, 
Thelmer Wallace Jr., Dr. Dwight Bailey, Matt Sykes and employees of the 
Russell County Sheriff's Department.
    Mr. Stoots, 69, of Green Valley, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, in the 
Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol.
    Combs Funeral Service is serving the Stoots family.
