Georgia Kay Waters, 60, of Box Springs, GA, died Monday , March 12, 2007 at 
Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday , March 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown 
Springs Church of God in Mauk, Ga. The Revs. F.M. Henderson, Jerry Woodell and 
Bob Powell officiating. Music will be provided by Jackie Robinson.Interment 
will follow in Oakland Church of God Cemetery in Mauk. Pallbearers will be 
Steven Lane, Justin Waters, Jacob Waters, Justin Weaver, Timothy Rumph, Jody 
Lane and Cody Lane.

Mrs. Waters was born 29 April, 1946 in Russell County, Va., the daughter of 
Elbert and Ruby Lee Johnson . She was preceded in death by her parents, by her 
children Eddie Dewayne Waters and Dellie Wayne Waters; and by her brothers; 
Harmon Gracy Johnson and Roy Leon Johnson.

She is survived by husband of 46 years, Tom Waters, two sons; Rufus Waters and 
wife Nannie and Steve Waters and wife Kim; two daughters, Sandra Weaver and 
husband Tim and Samantha Lane and husband Terry; Nine grandchildren; Stevan 
Lane, Justin Waters, Jennie Lane, Tiffany Rumph, Jacob Waters, Justin Weaver, 
Timothy Rumph, Jody Lane and Cody Lane. two great grandchildren; Hailie Lane 
and Derek Lane; one brother Freddie Johnson and Wife Ellamae and one sister, 
Mary Powers.


Additional Comments:
Kay died in Muscogee Co, Ga. She was buried in Marion Co. At "Oakland Church of 
God Cemetery, Hwy 41, Mauk, GA. Her sons Dellie Wayne and Eddie Dewayne are 
buried there with her.
