Wavilinia C. Wagner

     CASTLEWOOD -- Wavilinia Couch Wagner, 72, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, 
at home.
     She was born in Dante and was the daughter of the late Homer and Lucy 
Kate Elam Couch. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery and Jackie 
Hughes; and one sister, Frances Palmer.
     She is survived by two daughters, Joann Freeman of Coeburn and Jeannie 
Kay Chaffin and husband Freddie of Castlewood; one son, Mike Hughes and wife 
Glenda of Cleveland, Va.; two brothers, William Couch and wife Doris of 
Lebanon and Paul Couch and wife Sue of Kingsport; one sister, Brenda Dye and 
husband Riggie of Church Hill, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 
     Funeral services will be conducted in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, 
Castlewood, on Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Elam and 
Pastor Mickey Sexton officiating. Pallbearers will be Gene Couch, Clyde 
Bush, John James, Ted Collins, Jackie Hughes, Tony Davis, Tim Sutherland and 
Bo Payne.
     The family will receive friends at Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, 
Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, from 6 to 9 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the

Castlewood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
