N. W. Dandridge was married to Jan Pollard, August 3, 1779. Mrs. Dorthea Dandridge departed this life 25th of September, 1773. On January 16, 1786, fifteen minutes after 2 oclock in the moning, departed this life Nathaniel West Dandridge, Sr., born the 7th of September, 1729, in King and Queen county. Mrs. Martha Payne departed this life on Tuesday, the 28th day of September, 1791. N. W. Dandridge was married to Martha Fountaine on July 13, 1797. (1) N. W. Dandridge, born January 14, 1771. Martha Fountaine, born July 4, 1781. Their children-- William Fountaine Dandridge, Eliza Anne Dandridge, Charles Fountaine Dandridge, Henry Bolling Dandridge, Martha Lightfoot Dandridge, N. W. Dandridge, Jr.; Rosalie Spotswood Dandridge. Martha Dandridge died September 12th, at 8 oclock a.m., 1845; buried at Ridgeway, Pontotoc, country seat of P.H. Fountaine, her brother. N. W. Dandridge departed this life at 3 oclock p.m., July 26, 1847, i Pontotoc, and was buried at the died of his wife at Ridgeway, the seat of P. H. Fountaine.
