APPENDIX M. THE GOODWINS OF CAROLINE AND AMHERST COUNTIES, VIRGINIA Warner Goodwin, born in 1773, was married to Miss Camden, a daughter of Jabez Camden. He resided in Caroline conty, Va., until about 1800, when he removed to Amherst county, where he married, and where he died November 30, 1841, in his sixty-ninth year. Children: i. Marbell Camden, born 1804; married Sarah -------; ii. Nancy, married Samuel Bowyer; iii. Elizabeth, married ----- Thurman; iv. William, born 1811; died October 24, 1865, unmarried; v. John, born 1813; died October 22, 1856, unmarried; vi. Thomas, died in Texas, unmarried; vii. James Leroy, born 1817; married ----- Daniel; viii. Catherine, died unmarried. Marbell Camden Goodwin (Warner), born in 1804, in Amherst county, Va., was married to Sarah -----. They resided in Amherst county. Captain Marbell Camden Goodwin served as sheriff of Amherst county. He died May, 1868. Child: i. Selena, married John P. Beard, sheriff of Amherst county.
