She was a native of Scott County, a homemaker and a charter member of Gardeners Chapel Primitive Church. She was preceded by husband, Lindsay N. Laughlin; grandson, Brian Laughlin; parents, Isaac (Ike) and Sara (Tiny) daughter-in-law, Donna Laughlin; sisters, Elsie Huffman and Viola McMurray; and brothers, Werden, Ingle, Albert and Ervin Ramey. She is survived by Mrs. Shirley McMurray, Hiltons, Va., and Ms. Lou McMurray, Bristol; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmie Laughlin, Church Hill, Tenn., Leroy and Linda Laughlin, Bristol and Darrell and Patsy Laughlin of Kingsport; sisters, Beulah Laughlin, Blountville and Elva Harkleroad, Kingsport; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great- grandchildren; and several loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Scott County Funeral Home and any time at the residence. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gardeners Chapel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Clarence Huffman, Elder Gerald Hopkins and Elder Roger Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Gardeners Cemetery. Arrangements by Scott County Funeral Home.
