Aug 12, 1915: Mrs. David Hupp (Bessie Lee Hupp) of Strasburg suffered 3 strokes and died suddenly. Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Luther Hurn of Strasburg. Age 42 years, 7 mo. and 19 days. Survived by one son Lee and brother Carson Hurn. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. July 11, 1945: Mrs. Robert Hausenfluck (Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Hausenfluck) dies at home after a 27 week illness. Age 63. Daughter of the late Mathias P. and Amanda Estep Huff. Born June 14, 1877. Survivors: Husband, Robert, one son William, one Grandson Donald, one brother T.W. Huff and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Catherine Reedy and Mrs. Lulu Huff Griffith. Burial at Rest Haven Cemetery. June 27, 1943: Robert N. Hausenfluck at the home of his son William A. Hausenfluck on York Street following a short illness. Age 67 years. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hausenfluck. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. November 14, 1919: Mrs. Artie M. Hausenfluck, wife of John H. Hausenfluck of Roanoke died suddenly. Burial at Fairview Cemetery. Survivors: Husband R.N. of Hagerstown, MD, Mrs. G.L. Borden of Toms Brook, Mrs. W. F. Welch of Brunswick, Md., Gilbert, Benjamin and Charles Hausenfluck of Roanoke. October 10, 1920: John H. Hausenfluck died at the home of his daughter in Toms Brook after several months of illness from Chronic Bright’s disease. Age 66 years, eight months and eight days. Survivors: R.N. Hausenfluck of Hagerstown, MD, Mrs. G.L. Borden of Toms Brook, Mrs. W. F. Welch of Brunswick, Md., Gilbert, Benjamin and Charles Hausenfluck of Roanoke. Survivors: Husband, William Troxell, daughters, Mrs. Higman, New York, Alice Troxell, Manda Anthony, sons, William Troxell this city, Jr., Howard Troxell this city, and Harry Troxell, Ohio CERTIFICATE OF BAPTISM This is to Certify that Annie Hupp Hausenfluck was baptized by triune immersion at Hagerstown, Maryland on May 25, 1915. Administered by Miles J. Snyder Newspaper article, no date: An accident occurred at Shenandoah Junction to Miss Nina Shiflet of Luray was fatally burned. The oil from a coal lamp exploded and engulfed Miss Shiflet. Aged 17. Daughter of W.T. Shiflett of Luray.
