Funkhouser Cemetery Location: 1 mile south of Hudsons Cross Roads Shenandoah County There are only about five of the stones now standing of the twenty some that used to be there. These stones are made of sandstone, limestone and granite, and the writing is in the Dutch language. The date on the oldest legible stone being August 27, 1775. The stones are so old that the writing is almost unreadable. One or two stones were written in English and these were dated about 1864.
