Funkhouser Cemetery Location: .5 mile north of Basye, Virginia, on Route #723, just east of highway Shenandoah County Abraham Funkhouser, was first owner of this property. There is a wire fence around the plot and until recently the cemetery was kept clean. There are many fancy tombstones to be seen, and nearly all are epitaphed. Only one or two graves not being marked.
