Funkhouser Cemetery Location: 3.3 miles northeast of Orkney Springs on Route #263, thence 2.5 miles northeast on Route #611, east side of road. Shenandoah County This cemetery is very large. Covering an acre or more of land. All the fences and stones are missing, except a few markers. The cemetery is so grown up with trees that it is like going into a forest to go through it. The only stones I found were of slate; and had only initials and dates. #1 L.L.S. (1826) #2 (no letters) 37 #3 O.O.L.
