William Carson my heir and lawfull attorney for me and in my name and for my behalf to recover my pension of eighty dollars ____ ____ as one of the pensioners of the state of Virginia and to grant a receipt for the same thereby satisfying and confirming all that he my said attorney had as on the _____ by virtue hereof. Isaac Overall Shenandoah County Trust This day Daniel Anderson came before me a justice of the peace for said county and acknowledged the aboveletter of attorney to be his act and deed given under my hand this 9th day of June 1815. John Overall CONTRIBUTOR'S NOTE: Daniel Anderson moved to Page County in 1830 and microfilm indicates he had many different attorneys. He died on November 6, 1840: Nevin Wood, Administrator of estate.
