(document cut off; signature cut off I do with the advice of Council hereby certify that Charles Robinson, aged about 36 years, late a private in Col. Grayson's Regiment and whose pay was at the rate of 24 pounds per annum appears to have been disabled in such a manner while in the service of the United States by a wound to his left arm and another in his hip as to entitle him to the sum of eight pounds yearly; which allowance is accordingly made him, to commence from the first day of January 1787. Given under my hand as Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, at Richmond, this 23rd day of July 1787. T. Meriwether Signed: Beverley Randolph July 13, 1805 Robinson died--Elizabeth Robinson, John Sawyers and Stephen Allen certified that Robinson had died and asked for payment of his arrears.
