Returned to and Sworn to by Davis Allen, Deputy Sheriff and orders to be certified: Ordered that Hugh Smith pay Jacob Loch one dollar and six cents for two days attendance as a witness for him against Job Comb. Book 1806-1808 - August Court 1807: pg 131 David Loch Plt. against Philip Ludwig - This day came the parties by their attornies (sp as was ) and on a motion of the Plaintiffs by his attorney, this suit is continued as the cost of the said Plaintiff until next term. Pg. 244 Feb. 1808- David Loch, Pltf. against Philip Ludwig This suit is dismissed being agreed. Each party keeping their own cost. pg. 249 - Feb. Court 1808 John Lough Pltf. against Henry K. Burg Deft. Upon motion to recover money paid by the Plantiff as Security this day came the Plaintiffs by his attonrey and appearing to the court that the defendant hath had legal notice of this motion he was solomnly called but came not. Therfore it is considered by the Court that the Plaintiff has execution against the Defendant for the sum of Sixty-two dollars and forty-two cents. The amount of the money paid by him as Security with interest. There on to be computed after the rate of cp certrem (?) per. annum from the 16th day of January until 1808 until payment and his costs by him about his suit in this behalf expended.
