Shenandoah herald. (Woodstock, Va.) 1865-1974: January 04, 1877
Died, at the residence of the late Isaac Hottle, Esqr., on the 23rd of Dec., Miss
Mary Fravel, in the 27th year of her age. At her request, the writer received her
into the church about two months ago by the rite of confirmation. During her illness
she bore her sufferings with Christian patience and resignation. Having cast all her
care on the Lord Jesus, and having given her heart and its affections to him, death
had no terror for her. Her death was calm and peaceful. She breathed her last
without a struggle or a groan.
