David Cook Will, 1852 - Shenandoah Co., Virginia

I David Cook, of Shenandoah County and State of Virginia, do hereby make 
my last will and Testament in manner and form following,
First, I desire that all the perishable part of my estate shall be 
immediately sold after my deceased, and out of the monies arrising 
(sic)therefrom, all my just debts and funeral expenses paid, after the 
payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, I give unto my son Philip 
Cook, the one Seventh part of the proceeds of my estate both real and 
personal, To my Son Samuel Cook, one Dollar in Money, and to his 
children Noah Cook, David Cook, Mariah Cook, Catharine Cook, and John 
Michael Cook, children of Samuel Cook, each an equal portion of the one 
Seventh part of my estate, to my Daughter Catharine Neese, one seventh 
part of my estate, to my daughter Mary Stoutemoyer, one seventh part of 
my estate, to my Daughter Franey Frymoyer, one seventh part of my 
estate, to my Daughter Modaline Minich one seventh part of my estate, to 
my son, David Cook, one seventh part of my estate, I further declare 
that should any attempt upon the part of either of my son's in law to 
break this my will, that whosoever shall attempt the same shall heir no 
portion of my estate.
and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend John D. Zirkle 
and my Son Philip Cook, Executors of this my last will and testament, 
hereby revoking all other or former wills or testaments, by me 
heretofore made, in witness whereof I have hereunto set up hand and 
affixed my seal this 30th day of May in the One Thousand Eight Hundred 
and fifty Two,
