Baldwin, 70, of Bristol, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tenn. He was a native of Grayson County, a longtime resident of Manassas and had lived in Washington County for the past ten years. He was the son of the late Vernie A. and Vesta Shumate Baldwin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a carpenter. Survivors include one daughter, Theresa R. Baldwin, of Elkwood; six sons, Roger W. Baldwin of Dale City, Richard L. Baldwin of Bealton, Ronald E. Baldwin of Shady Side, Md., Donald E. Baldwin of Haymarket, Russell A. Baldwin of Manassas and Timothy M. Baldwin of Richardsvile; 13 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, in the Garrett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R.E. Layne officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Baptist Cemetery in Rugby. Condolences may be sent through the web site at www.garrettfuneralhome.com.
