Billings MARION -- Emily Kay Billings, 56, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was employed with Southwestern State Hospital with 30 years of service and was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Carl Gene Billings of Marion; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa "Missy" Billings and Adam Richards of Saint Cloud, Fla.; her mother, Ruth Rosenbaum of Marion; two sisters and brother-in- laws, Sara and Mike Ellis of Hampton, Va., and Elaine and John Olinger of Groseclose, Va.; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Marcy Rosenbaum of Marion; one granddaughter, Bailey Fae Richards of Saint Cloud; two step- granddaughters, Laken Moore of Chilhowie and Stephanie Poston of Marion; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Price and Rev. John Graham officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Patients' Chrismas Fund at Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute, 340 Bagley Circle, Marion, VA 24354. It was Mrs. Billings' request that she be cremated and a private burial to be held at a later date. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is serving the Billings family.
