Peggy Ruth Carter

RICH VALLEY, Va. -- Mrs. Peggy Ruth Carter, 85, passed away Saturday, March 15,
2003, at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Fred Carter. 

She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Cook, Rich Valley; one son, Larry Carter,
Marion; one grandson, Geoffrey Cook, Abingdon; one granddaughter, Kimberly
Sayers, Marion; great-grandson, Mathew Cook; one sister, Jean Bise, Saltville;
five brothers, W.C. Moore Jr., Rich Valley, Robert Moore, Kalamazoo, Mich.,
Jerry Moore, Parrish, Fla., Vance Moore, Rural Retreat and Donald Moore, Rich
Valley; special niece, Marsha Fowler; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are incomplete.

D.R. Henderson Funeral Home is serving the Carter family.
