She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Carter. She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Cook, Rich Valley; one son, Larry Carter, Marion; one grandson, Geoffrey Cook, Abingdon; one granddaughter, Kimberly Sayers, Marion; great-grandson, Mathew Cook; one sister, Jean Bise, Saltville; five brothers, W.C. Moore Jr., Rich Valley, Robert Moore, Kalamazoo, Mich., Jerry Moore, Parrish, Fla., Vance Moore, Rural Retreat and Donald Moore, Rich Valley; special niece, Marsha Fowler; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are incomplete. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home is serving the Carter family.
