He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Curtis Cassell; and his grandparents, Arthur and Annie Combs and Samuel and Pearl Cassell. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Nancy M. Cassell; three children, Crystal L. Dalton, Joseph C. Cassell and Lucy A. Cassell; a son-in-law, Ronnie L. Dalton; his mother, Lola Cassell; two brothers Arthur S. Cassell and Daniel G. Cassell; two sisters, Julia Duncan and Annie P. Gravely; and dear friends of the family, Billy Ray Murphy and family, Michael Scott Lane, Tracy Matthews and Gabriella Robinson. Memorial services were held at the home, 136 West Avenue, Dublin on Friday afternoon, Feb. 4, 2005. Mullins Funeral Home and Crematory in Radford was in charge of arrangements.
