Ciccarello, 102, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, in the Smyth County Community Hospital. She was born in the Little Valley Community of Tannersville on Jan. 29, 1903, to the late Joseph Jake and Margaret Asbury Taylor. Her husband, Jimmy Ciccarello and two sons, Eddie Taylor and Carlos Junior Ferley preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ashford of Maryland; 10 grandchildren, LuAnn Cooper, Daisy Lee Ashford, Ronnie Ashford, Carlos Ferley, Hubert Ferley, Dora Frye, Kathleen Langford, Junior Taylor, Wallace Taylor and Margaret Ann Stroup; 25 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, from the Little Valley Christian Church with the Rev. Bob Hartley officiating. Interment will follow in the Asbury Mitchell Kinder Cemetery in Little Valley. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, from 7-9 p.m. at the church. Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements.
