Jackson Coe, 73, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2003, at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Coe; and two brothers, Blackie Jackson and Stoney Jackson. Survivors: one foster daughter, Amy Broyles and husband James, Saltville; brother-in-law, Bill Coe, Chilhowie; four sisters-in-law, Pauline Jackson, Saltville, Pauline Coe Call, Saltville; Elizabeth Coe Miller, Blacksburg, Va., and Pat Coe Stuart, Virginia Beach, Va.; three foster grandchildren, Adrian, Tayler and Haley; two nephews, Eddie Jackson, Meadowview and Charlie Jackson, Meadowview; and three nieces, Brenda Jackson, Charlotte, N.C., Carolyn Call, Chilhowie and Teresa Griffey, Saltville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at Henderson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Benny Frye officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Jackson, Bill Coe, Jack Coe, Dan Call, Locke McVey and Charlie Jackson. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home of Saltville is serving the Coe family.
