Debord Barbara Bowman Debord, (Bobbie Lee), 31, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born in Smyth County and was preceded in death by her grandmother, Annie Bowman and her grandfather, Herbert Kelly Johnson. She was a graduate of Chilhowie High School, class of 1991 and attended Wytheville Community College. She was a member of the Seven Mile Ford Christian Church and was currently employed at Oak Hill Cap and Gown Co. in Chilhowie. Survivors include one daughter, Alexius Ciera Miller of Chilhowie; one son, Mark Miller III of Chilhowie; parents, Roger and Christine Bowman of Marion; grandmother, Edna Johnson of Marion; grandfather, John Bowman of Chilhowie; one sister and brother-in-law, Kelley Bowman and Gary Moore of Marion; nieces and nephews, Cory and Katlinn Hale, Logan, Justin, Cody and Kariana Moore; and special friend, Aaron Lowe. Funeral services were held Friday evening, March 11, 2005, at the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie. The Rev. Jerry Williams officiated the ceremony. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Middle Fork Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 733 Third Ave., New York, N.Y. 10017. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. The family received friends Friday evening, March 11, 2005, at the funeral chapel. Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie is in charge of arrangements.
