Garrick, 48, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at the Oasis of Hope Cancer Treatment Center in Mexico. He was born in Marion, the son of the late William Garrick and Sadie Long Garrick of Sugar Grove. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Garrick. He was employed by Bosley Construction where he worked as an operating engineer and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, June Dianne Moore Garrick; his mother, Sadie Garrick of Sugar Grove; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ronald A. and Jennifer Garrick and David W. Garrick of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, John Garrick and Mark Garrick of Sugar Grove; granddaughters, Megan and Zoe Garrick; father- and mother-in-law, Ralph and Peggy Moore; brothers-in-law, Russell, Robert and James Moore; and several nieces and newphews. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at the Summit Baptist Church in Sugar Grove. Interment will follow in Slemp Cemetery.
