Gentry Stephen Allen Gentry, 43, formerly of Glade Spring, died Friday, March 11, 2005, at his home in the Wythe House where he lived since 1994. He was born and raised in Glade Spring before moving to Wytheville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth (Babe) and Eva Hayden Gentry. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Pat Gentry of Chilhowie; one niece, Mandy (Eric) Puckett of Chilhowie; one nephew, Todd (Angela) Gentry of Chilhowie; four great-nephews, Eric, Tyler and Ethan Puckett and Nathan Gentry; two great-nieces, Chelsey Burgess and Tabatha Gentry; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon, March 14, 2005, in the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Mutter officiated the ceremony. Burial followed in the Mount Rose Cemetery. Family received friends Sunday evening, March 13, 2005, at the funeral home. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville was in charge of arrangements.
