Grogg William E. "Bill" Grogg, 75, died Monday, March 14, 2005, at his home. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Joy Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Grogg and son, Rex Grogg. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Sophia G. and Nelson Thomas and JoAnna "Jodi" Grogg, all of Saltville; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Sis Grogg of Saltville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Anita and John Johnson of Florida and Patricia and Dean Stilted of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Atkins officiating. Interment will follow at Elizabeth Cemetery with military rites by Saltville V.F.W. Post #7328. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville is in charge of arrangements.
