She was born in Washington County to the late John H. and Pearlie Farmer Blackwell and was preceded in death by her husband, William Gross Sr. Survivors include: Harold L. Blackwell and wife Evelyn, Marion, and William D. (Billy) Gross, Marion; three sisters, Emma Henniger, Bristol Virginia, Liza Necessary, Bristol Virginia, and Edna Lowe, Damascus; one brother, Shadie Blackwell, Bangor, Maine; eight grandchildren, Kenneth Blackwell, Jeffrey Blackwell, Rhonda Hess, Brian Blackwell, Tanya Queen, Natasha Gross, Brandon Gross and Cody Dennison; 10 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Louise Gross, Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Rev. Robert Prater and Rev. Herman Cress officiating. Interment will follow in the Walkers Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Bradley's Funeral Home, Marion, is serving the family of Mrs. Gross.
