Harman Jr. MARION -- Robert Elmer Harman Jr., 55, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, at home. He attended Marion Church of God. He was born in Mingo County, W.Va., and moved to Virginia in the 1960s. Mr. Harman graduated from Marion College in 1967, and spent most of his adult life in the Los Angeles area, moving back to Marion in 2000. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Elmer Harman Sr.; and one sister, Becky Ball. He is survived by one daughter, Gigi Spiegel of Los Angeles; three sons, Robert Harman and John Harman, both of Richmond, and Greg Harman of Gettysburg, Pa.; his mother, Margie Harman of Marion; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Bunni Ellison and Martha and Curt Marchus, all of Marion; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Jerry Alley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is serving the Harman family.
