(Lee) Havens, 64, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, in the Smyth County Community Hospital. He was born in Marion and was preceded in death by his father, Henry Havens and a brother, Jim Havens. He was a member of the Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church and had built many homes in Smyth County. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Brooks Havens of Marion; mother, Margaret Havens Johnson and husband, Fred of Rural Retreat; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Becky Havens of Camp; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Keith Croy of Groseclose; two grandsons, Jason Havens of Camp and Chris Harris of Groseclose; one granddaughter, Amy Cox and husband, Sam of Camp; two great- grandsons, Walker Cox and Marshall Harris; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Randy Havens and Bill and Phyllis Havens, all of Marion. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at the funeral home. Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements. o
