She was born in Abingdon to the late McKinley and Belle Poole and was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Allen Heath. She was a lifetime employee of Bonham Apple Orchard in Chilhowie. Survivors include one son, William McKinley Heath of Abingdon; one sister, Virginia Sweat of Bristol; three grandsons, McKinley Allen Heath, Leslie Rasnake and Curtis Shew; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Friday afternoon, Dec. 31, 2004, at the Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring with the Rev. Ernest Yates officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. The family received friends Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at the Bradley’s Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie.
