Born on December 26, 1960 in Petoskey, Mich., she owned and operated the Get Wythe It Country Crafts in Wytheville for several years. She was a bartender at Embers Lounge at the Holiday Inn, Wytheville, a sales clerk at Ms. Gertas Antique Mall, and operated a pet sitting business which encouraged her great love for animals, especially her beloved dog, “Jasper.” Survivors include her husband, Jim Langridge, of Wytheville; her mother, Maxine Martin, of White Springs, Fla.; two step-sons, Justin Langridge and Cody Langridge, both of Spotsylvania; four sisters, Terri Davis of Pageland, S. C., Sally Meade of Clearwater, Fla., Joy Tuttle of Hudson, Fla., and Virginia Lewis of Bark River, Mich.; one brother, Mike McCalmon of Surprise, Ariz.; her mother- in-law, Frances Langridge, of Fredericksburg; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory in Marion where the Rev. Tim Madaris and the Rev. Mike Sage officiated. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory in Marion was in charge of arrangements.
