Mitchell

Kathy Irene Mitchell, 50, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Valley Health Care
Center.

She was an author and won poet of the year in 2002 and 2003. She was of the
Pentecostal Faith and was preceded in death by her father, Lee Mitchell;
brother, Kenneth; and daughter, Melissa Mitchell

Survivors include her mother and step father, Lois and Alvin Lynch of Saltville;
one brother, James Mitchell of Saltville; one sister, Martha Kestner of
Saltville; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in the
Eastridge Family Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Delp officiating.

D.R. Henderson Funeral Home of Saltville is in charge of arrangements.
