Moore MARION -- Betty Lee Maiden Moore, age 66, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon. She was born in Smyth County to the late Virgil and Mae Maiden and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Harvey Moore; a sister, Sharon Maiden Mason; and a brother, Billy Wayne Maiden. She was also a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and was retired from Food Lion. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana Lee and Joseph Leslie Crouse, Chilhowie and Karen Lynn and Jimmy Trail, Catawba; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Johnny Harvey Moore, Marion and Ronnie Frank and Nancy Ann Moore, Marion; six sisters, Mildred Earnest, Marion, Margaret Johnson, Marion, Shirley Blevins, Marion, Mary Kellam, Decatur, Ala, Linda Maiden, Decatur and Joyce Cofield, Valdosta, Ga.; four brothers, Kenneth Maiden, Marion, Earnest Maiden, Elkins, W.Va., Everette Maiden, Port St. Joe, Fla., and Dean Maiden, Clarksville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Serena Bowers, Shannon Trail, Tony Moore, Kristy Moore, Michael Moore, Chris Moore and Kevin Trail; two great- grandchildren, Kendra Moore and Hunter Bowers; special friend and adopted sister, Lola Bumgarner; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Rev. Charles DeHart officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations should be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 720 Grace St., Marion, VA 24354. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Bradley's Funeral Home, Marion, is serving the Moore family.
