He had been a resident of Thornton Hall Nursing Home in Norfolk since May of 2003. His wife, Pauline Neal and daughter, Shirley N. Russell, preceded him in death. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy J. and Delbert (Bud) Bishop of Norfolk; granddaughter, Tad Russell of Norfolk; grandson, Todd A. Bishop and wife, Sherri, of Norfolk; great-grandson, Darrell B. Bishop and girlfriend, Laurie Lapeza; great-granddaughter, Laura Randall and husband, Bobby of California. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Jan. 16, 2005, at the Bradley’s Funeral Home Chapel in Marion. The Rev. Gary Trout officiated the ceremony. Burial followed in Zion Cemetery. Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion was in charge of arrangements.
