Pauley SALTVILLE - Mr. Frankie J. Pauley, age 41, passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, in the Smyth County Community Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, William Arville Pauley, and a brother-in-law, Jeffery Andrew Puckett. Survivors: his wife, Katie Puckett Pauley, Saltville; two sons, James "J.D." Pauley, Saltville, and Arville Pauley, Saltville; his mother, Evelyn Pauley, Saltville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Swanson and Phylis Puckett, Saltville; five sisters, Helen Collins, Saltville, Sandy Minton, Saltville, Linda Bennett, Saltville, Mary O'Quinn, Meadowview, and Nancy Prater, Saltville; two brothers, William Pauley, Saltville, and George Pauley, Glade Spring, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Pauley will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003, at Henderson Funeral Home, with Minister Phil Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home prior to the service. Graveside committal services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Mount Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Pallbearers will be Chuck Bennett, Roger Stewart, Rick Stewart, Johnny Puckett, Chris Puckett, Buddy O' Quinn, James Prater and Ronald Collins Jr. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home of Saltville is serving the Pauley family.
