He was born July 14, 1935, on Lick Creek Road in Ceres, the son of the late Charles and Mamie L. Thweattt. He retired from ABEX where he was employed for 40 years. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy D. and Robert Glynn of Winchester, Conny T. and Robert Ritchie of Front Royal and Kelly J. and Joseph Rossi of Stephens City; one brother, Charles B. Thweatt, Jr. of Winchester; one sister, Chloe Sparks of Ceres; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Goodwill Baptist Church of Ceres. Pastor Charles Turley will officiate the ceremony. Burial will be in the Cregger Family Cemetery in Ceres. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, from 7-9 p.m. at Bradley’s Funeral Home. Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements.
