She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Anthony and Ima Dell Jackson. Survivors include her husband, John O. Widener; two sons and daughters-in-law, Giles Anthony and Anna Widener and Timothy Alan and Lillian Widener; three grandchildren, Marissa, Jeramy, and Samantha Widener; two step-grandchildren, Sarah and Mikaeta Stanley; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas Jr. and Sharon Jackson of Mt. Airy, N.C., Walter and Martha Jackson, Earnest and Patty Jackson, Billy Jackson, and Ricky and Linda Jackson, all of Saltville; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Barrett, Linda and Mike Allison, all of Saltville, Bonnie Blevins of Rich Valley, Hilda and Carl Forrester of Hillsville and Lorretta and Harold Nester of Dublin; and numerous nieces and nephews and very special friends. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Emanuel Church in Mt. Airy, N.C. This is a courtesy announcement of D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville.
