Cemetery Location:  2 miles northwest of Newsoms, Virginia
                    Southampton County


This property has been in possession of Pope family for more than one hundred 
and fifty years.  Mrs. Lula Pope, present owner.

Harrison P. Pope, Born July 5, 1817, died October 30, 1877

Virginia A., wife of H.P. Pope, born June 18, 1830, died July 12, 1851

Elizabeth H., daughter of H.P. and Virginia Pope, born February 10, 1850, died 
August 1, 1850

Virginia A., daughter of H.P. and Virginia Pope, born February 1, 1849, died 
February 11, 1849

Joseph Pope, born January 13, 1787, died December 9, 1829

Mrs. C.A. Clarke, wife of W.D. Clarke departed this life March 10, 1857, aged 47 
years

Marie Antineti, daughter of George C. and Anna L. Pope, born October 20, 1857, 
died July 19, 1859
