[margin notes] Jackson & al' to Jenkins d'd to Spencer Jenkins This Indenture made this Eleventh day of April one thou sand seven hundred and fifty Beteewn Sarah Jackson widow and Mary Peden & Sarah Jackson Daughters of the aforesaid Sarah Jackson of Southampton County of the one part and Benjamin Jankins of the Same County of the other part - Witnesseth the said Sarah Jackson widow and Mary Peden and Sarah Jackson Daughters as aforesaid for & in Consideration of Twelve pounds Current Money of virginia to them in hand paid by the said Benjamin Jankins at or before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Sarah Jackson widow and Mary peden and Sarah Jackson Daughter as aforesaid doth hereby acknowledge them the said Sarah Jackson widow and Mary Peden and Sarah Jackson Daughters as aforesaid hath granted bargained & sold aLined infeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell a Line infeoffed and Confirm unto the said Benja. Jankins his heirs and assigns for ever A Cartain tract or perceil of Land Containing seventy five Acres be the Same more or less Setuate lying and being in Nottoway Parish in the County of Southampton bounded as follows beginning at the mouth of a branch called Tarrapin up the run of the Said branch to a pine thence to a white Oak a Corner tree of Thos. Boykins Land so a long the said line to the Main black water swamp up the run of the said swamp to the mouth of a branch Called the Crows branch up the run of the said ds branch to the Beginning. and all trees woods underwoo [page break] [p.] 120. Commons Pasturs Commodities advantages hereditaments whatsoever to the said Land above mentioned belonging or in any wise appurtaining or in or upon the Same happining growing or arissing and also the Reversion and Reversions Remainder & Remainders Rents and servises of the said premises and every part thereof & also all the Estate Right title Interest Claim and Demand whatsoever of them the said Jacksons above Ritten of in or to the same premises and every part thereof To have and to hold all and singular the said premises above mentioned and every part thereof with["in" erased] the appurtenances unto the said Benja. Jankins his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Benja. Jankins his heirs for ever and the said Jacksons before Written for themselves and their heirs will warrant and ever Defend the said Tract or persell of Land with the appurtenances above men tioned and every part thereof against him and his heirs and against all & every other person and persions whatsoever the said Benja. Andrew Sikes mark her Benjamin Vasser Sarah + Jackson .Ls. mark At a Court held for the County of Southampton on Thursday the 12 Day of April 1750¯¯¯ This Indenture & Memorandum were acknowledged by the within named Sarah Mary & Sarah & Ordered to be Recorded Test R. [& tiny check mark] [margin notes] Jackson & al' to Jenkins d'd to Spencer Jenkins Know all men by these presents that we Sarah Jackson Widow and my two Daughters Mary Peden & Sarah Jackson of Southampton County are held and firmly bound unto Benjamin Jenkins of the Same County or his Atturney Exectrs. administrators or assigns in the full and Just sum of one hundred pounds Stearling Money to which payment well and truly to be made we do bind our Selves or either of us our either of our heirs Executors Administrators firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and Dated this 23d. day of November in the year of our Lord 1749 Anno Dom., whereas Ann Steward grann Daughter to Sarah Jackson Widow & Cozin to Mary Peden & Sarah Jackson as above mentioned has w Wright to twenty five Acres of Lands more or less by the last will & Testament of Richard Jackson [page break] [p.] 122. bareing date the 14th Day of October 1740 in the Same tract or dividend of Land as Sarah Jackson Widow & hur two Daughters Mary Peden & Sarah Jackson has sold & made =over to Benja: Jenkins & his assigns for ever the Condition of this obligation is such that if the above bound Sarah Jackson Widow or her two Daughters Mary Peden & Sarah Jackson or either of them or either of their heirs Exetrs. Administrators do cause the above mentioned Ann Steward if she should live to the age of twenty one years to make the above mentioned Benja_ Jenkins his heirs & assigns for ever a good and Lawful wright to all the Lands as she shall be intitled by the Death of her grand father Richard Jackson as aforesaid in paying her the said Ann Steward Six pounds Current money of Virginia then this Obligation to be void & of no efect otherwise to Remain hur in full force & Virtue _________________ Sarah + Jackson .Ls. signed & Delivered { mark in presents of { her Mary x Peden .Ls.
