Glover & Patience his Wife of Nansemond county of the one part & Thomas Muntford of Southampton County of the other part witnesseth that the sd. Wm. Glover for & in consideration of the sum of two hundred pounds Current Money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the sd. Thos. Muntford the receipt whereof the sd. Wm. Glover doth hereby acknowledge he the sd. Wm. Glover hath Granted bargained & sold alien & confirm & by these presents doth grant bargain & sell alien & Confirm unto the sd. Thos. Muntford his heirs and assigns forever all that Measuage or tenement Situate & lying in the County of Southampton near black water river begining at a small Gum then south forty five degrees west two hundred & forty Poles to the Cypress Swamp then south Sixty east two hundred Poles down the sd. Swamp Variouses courses thereof to Thomas Lankfords Line to the old Possessioned line thence north eighty degrees West to the first Station containing by estimation two hundred acres be the same more or less the same being part of a tract of Land purchased of the Executors of Wm. Haynes Decd. by deed bearing date in March Last & also all lands trees, woods, Underwoods tithes commons common of Pasture profits, Commodites advantages hereditaments ways, Waters & appurtenances whatsoever to the sd. Measuage or Tenement & Premises above Mentioned Belonging or in any wise Appertaining and also the Reversion & Reversions Remainder & Remainders rents & services of the sd. premises & of every part the[re] of & all the Estate Right title Interest Claim & demand Whatsoever of them the sd. Wm. Glover of in & to the sd. Measuage tenement & premises & every part thereof To have and to hold the sd. Measuage or tenement & all & singular the sd. premises above mentioned & every part & parcel thereof with the appurtenances unto the sd. Thos. Muntford his heirs & assigns to the only proper use & behoof of the sd. Thomas Muntford his heirs & assigns forever & the [sd] Wm Glover for him & his heirs the sd. Measuage or tenement & premises & every part there of against him & his heirs & against all & every other person & persons whatsoever to the sd. His minor son Wade was bequeathed the 135-acre tract, after the marriage or death of the widow, Sarah.
