Scott's} Negroes } Pursuant and agreeable, to the last will and Testament of James Jordan Scott Deceased, We proceeded to make a division of the negro's that belonged to the estate of the said deceased, And have divided them into five equal distinct and Seperate parts & Partitions as follows (to wit:) Robin, Venus, Celia & Rachel compose the first Lott or one fifth part (of all the said Negro's) which negro's Miriam Scott widow of the said James Jordan Scott dec'd: made choice of as and for her full share and Proportion of all the said negro's _ And the Second Lot being also the fifth part of the whole and which Consists of negro's. Old Will, Sue, young Will, and Treasy, are by Lott assign'd to Ann Scott as her full share & Proportion of the said Negro's, And the Third Lot being another fifth part, Consisting of Negro's, Pompy, Sam, Ben, & Cherry are in Like manner, assign'd to James Scott for his full share & Proportion of all the said Negro's, And the fourth Lot or next fifth part.
