George &c  To all &c  Know ye  that for divers good causes & considerac'ons but more especially for and in considerac'on of the 
Sum' of fifteen Shillings of good and lawfull mony for our use paid to our Receiver General of our Revenues in this our Said 
Colony of Virginia  We have given granted & confirmed and by these presents for us our heirs & Successors do give grant & 
confirm unto Joseph Turner of Isle of Wight County one certain tract or parcell of Land containing one hundred & fifty acres 
lying and being on the south side of the main black water Swamp in the Said County of Isle of Wight, and bounded as followeth, ___ 
to wit  begining at a red oak near the edge of Tuckers poquoson  thence north twenty five degrees east two hundred pole to a pine, then 
South seventy degrees east one hundred and twenty pole to four trees chopt inwards, then south twenty five degrees 
West two hundred poles to a white oak and north seventy degrees West one hundred & twenty pole to the begining  With 
all &c  To have hold &c  To be held &c  yeilding & paying &c  Provided &c  In Witness &c  Witness our Trusty & welbeloved Alexandr. 
Spotswood our Lt. Govr. &c  At Williamsburgh under ye Seal of Our Said Colony the twenty third day of March one thousand 
Seven hundred & fifteen in ye Second Year of our Reign
