Carolina of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Henry tynes and Hannah his wife for and in Consideration [of the] sum of One hundred pounds lawfull Money of this Commonwealth to them in hand paid by the said west Tynes at or before the Sealing or delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained & sold and by these presents and each of them bargain and sell unto the said west tynes his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land lying & being in [page break] [p.] 13 the County of Southampton and State of Virginia Containing by estimation Fifty Eight and two thirds acres be the same more or less & bounded as follows _ Begining at a pine a Corner tree on the old line Joining Beasant Britt and David Tynes and thence a strait line to a dogwood a corner tree adjoining the old line between Tynes & Wright, and from thence to a Sassafras a corner tree adjoining William Crumpler and the old line of west Tynes senr. thence a direct line to Sycamore a Corner tree adjoining arrington Britt & said old line, and thence down the old line to the Pine a corner tree tree as aforesaid___Together with said land, woods water Courses, privileges, profits, Commodities, advantages, & emoluments, whatsoever to the said tract or par =cel of land belonging or appertaining), or with the same used or enjoyed, taken or known, and every part or parcel thereof To have and to hold the said tract of Land with hereditaments & all & singular part and parts herein before mentioned or intended to be bargained & sold, with every, title, & appurtenance of the said land unto to and for the only proper use of the said West Tynes his heirs and assigns forever. the said west Tynes his heirs & assigns forever ^ _ and the said Henry Tynes & Hannah his wife doth for themselves their Heirs and assigns free from the Claim or Claims of the the said Henry Tynes & Hannah his wife or either of them their heirs and assigns, and the said Henry Tynes & Hannah his wife doth by these presents warrant and defend the right and title of said land &c, from any other person or persons Claiming the said Land or any part or parcel thereof, In Witness whereof they the said Henry Tynes & Hannah his wife doth hereunto sit their hands & seals the day and date above mentioned Signed, sealed & delivered } Henry.
